Introducing: Tubolito-Saddle Bag

 Tubolito’s next step in sustainability

Upcycling

In May 2024, we are launching our first product made from production leftovers. Naturally, we wanted to design a product that reflects our love of cycling.

So, together with EMMAKER, we developed the Tubolito-Saddle Bag. A saddle bag for a spare tube and enough space for a CO2 cartridge and tire levers, so that you can get back on the road quickly in the event of a puncture.

It is quick and easy to mount thanks to the Velcro fastening system and looks cool on any bike in Tubolito orange.

We are particularly proud of the fact that it is one of the lightest saddle bags on the market, only weighing around 28 grams.

Now available in our online shop www.tubulito.com!

CO2 -Footprint

Tubolito’s carbon footprint is smaller compared to conventional tubes made out of butyl.

The decisive factors here are on the one hand the different raw material (TPU vs. rubber), but on the other hand also the same advantages that make Tubolito so special: Low weight and less material use fewer resources per tube while still providing a better riding experience.

As all our production takes place in Europe and transportation routes are very short, less CO2 is released during the entire production process.

Recycling

The TPU material from which Tubolitos are made is 100% recyclable. With the Tubolito Recycling Program, we are creating an easy way to return used Tubolitos to us. Together with our customers and partners, we want to close the cycle in this way. Used Tubolitos can simply be returned to participating recycling partners free of charge. The partners collect them and send them back to us.

The program is currently available in Germany and Austria.
