It is not only a savior in need, but can perfectly well also be used on a daily basis, as it is still as robust as a standard butyl tube. It is developed to fit in any small pocket.
The 35 gram lightweight S-Tubo-CX/Gravel-All is the ideal spare tube for all 700C and 650B tires with a tire width of 32 – 50 mm due to its very small packed size. Leftovers of tubeless liquids do not harm to. Thanks to its low rolling resistance, it can also be the decisive advantage at competitions.
Available with 42 mm (35 grams) and 60 mm (36 grams) Presta valves and suitable for disc brakes only.
All Tubolitos are made from the high-tech plastic TPU. TPU has been used successfully in the industry for many years and is valued for its outstanding performance.
The founders of Tubolito, Ákos Kertész and Christian Lembacher, have been working with TPU since before founding Tubolito and have built up extensive expertise over the years.
The combination of TPU with a patented manufacturing process makes it possible for Tubolitos to be small, lightweight, and at the same time puncture-resistant. These properties can be optimized depending on what is required from the Tubolito.

Tubolitos are made from TPU. Thanks to the innovative processing of this special material, Tubolitos are not only significantly lighter, but also more robust than classic products made of butyl rubber.
In terms of snake bite damage to the inner tube, Tubolitos have a similar robustness to classic butyl rubber products.
We have had the rolling resistance of our products tested by an independent body. The following graphs show the results:
As can be seen from the diagram below, Tubolitos have a similar air retention as products made of butyl rubber.
The maximum and minimum air pressure with which Tubolitos can be used depends on the tire casing used. Therefore, please observe and comply with the information on the casing.
Please note: Tubolitos must not be inflated to more than 0.5 bar/ 7 psi outside the casing. Otherwise they may become deformed and defective.
Yes, but as with butyl rubber hoses, CO2 escapes faster than air, so that it has to be pumped in sooner.
Should a puncture occur, you can easily repair the inner tube with the Tubo-Patch-Kit developed by us.
Please note: Puncture kits for tubes made of butyl rubber are not suitable for tubes made of TPU.
Tubo: The perfect tube for everyday use – more robust and lighter than a conventional butyl rubber tube
S-Tubo: light as a feather and small due to the reduced wall thickness – extremely low rolling resistance – perfect replacement tube. S-Tubos achieve very similar results in the needle puncture test to significantly heavier standard products made of butyl rubber.
X-Tubo: extremely durable – no more breakdowns in everyday use – No Flat Tube. X-Tubos come with a one-year manufacturer’s warranty on all plates in everyday use.
Standard pump heads (e.g. SKS or Topeak) work perfectly with a remaining valve height of 15 mm.
To select the correct valve height, the following must therefore be taken into account:
If you subtract the valve height (in mm) from the rim height (in mm), at least 15 mm must remain.
Yes, as long as the tire dimensions (wheel diameter and tire width) are the same, this is possible without any problems.
Our story begins with research into a durable material for smartphone speaker membranes – light and thin, yet extremely resistant.
The technicians and amateur mountain bikers Christian Lembacher and Akos Kertesz quickly realized that the newly developed high-tech material TPU was ideal for bicycle inner tubes! A revolution in the world of cycling, where until then all tubes had been made of rubber or latex.
Our mission has always been to create bicycle inner tubes that are not only light and robust, but also significantly improve the performance and safety of bicycles.
